Industrial heritage; storage hall (1950's) of the former Bruynzeel factory in Zaandam (N.V. Hollandsche Deurenfabriek C. Bruynzeel en Zonen).
The factory made products from wood (floors, kitchens, doors) and was founded in 1920 in Zaandam because of the presence of nearby wood suppliers,
inland waterways and railway infrastructure.
The new owner 'BPF Bouwinvest' has the intention to transform this building into a multi functional shopping mall (22.000 m2), called 'De fabriek' (2010).
