a bit self-respecting metropole has air pollution.
when the winter sun sets, smog particles no longer scatter the light, details of the city slowly become visible.

lit and now visible lighting brings the city back to life.
as dusk sets in, those same details fade into darkness.

seen from the street, the ibis hotel is not really noticeable in terms of visibility.
this requires additional measures; a red neon arrow along the eaves should draw attention instead of a nearby terrace, helping guests to find the hotel.
